We're so pleased to be able to re-start the Community Lunch offering food for the body, as we eat, and for the soul, as we reflect on Jesus Christ "in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (From the Apostle Paul's letter to the Colossians, Chapter 2 verse 3)
We meet on the second Saturday of the month. Our dates for 2021/22 are:
11th December, 8th January, 12th February, 12th March, 9th April, 14th May, 11th June
Eating in the company of others is one of the most enjoyable things we do as human beings. Some of us do it every day and some of us eat alone far too often. The aim of the Community Lunches is to provide a three course meal, the opportunity to enjoy eating with other people and getting to know others who live close by. Everyone is welcome - children, families, young and old to enjoy a three course meal for just £3 per person!
You can arrive early as we serve coffee or tea from 11.30am onwards and you can enjoy a chat with other people or have a quiet read of the newspaper.
The meal, including a vegetarian option, is served at 12.30pm and usually finishes around 1.45pm. All for just £3!
The venue is Holy Trinity Church Hall at 54 Cambridge Street.
There is no need to book, but if it is your first time, please let our church office know so we can look forward to greeting you when you arrive.
