my CHURCHSUITE AND YOU

One aim in our vision is to develop relationships that encourage faith across backgrounds, ages & cultures. 
"as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, and strengthened in the faith as you were taught" (Colossians 2:6).
My ChurchSuite will help all of us to connect more with and encourage each other in following Christ. 
 

What is ChurchSuite?

• ChurchSuite is a web-based tool that makes the administration of our church easier. But it's not just about administration – it also makes ministry in our church easier. It helps God's kingdom to be built.

• We first started using it in 2018 and have gradually been using it more, and now it is a key part of our church life.

• At its heart is a secure database of our church members. Gone are the old out-of-date spreadsheets – now we have a secure database that is accurate and compliant with GDPR (data protection regulations).

• We value your data and people's privacy: members will be able to choose what details they want to share with others from our church.

• ChurchSuite also enables ministry or office staff to email church individuals, groups or their leaders, and keep records of group memberships, registers and more.

• It also contains our main church calendar and room bookings and acts as a platform for signing up for events or buying tickets.

• It has other functions which we hope to use in the future, including rotas, giving and service planning.
  
   

The church member-facing side of ChurchSuite, the bit you will be able to interact with directly, is called My ChurchSuite.
 

How do ChurchSuite and My ChurchSuite help you?

• If you get our weekly or occasional emails then these are already sent using ChurchSuite
• If you have booked a place online for Prom Praise, a Welcome Course or Discover course, Holiday Club or a Light Party, you would have used ChurchSuite to do that.
• But in future you will be able to do much more! Church members will receive an invitation from us to log in to My ChurchSuite yourself.

In My ChurchSuite you will be able to:

• Check that the personal details we hold for you are correct, and change them if necessary
• View the church's calendar and see what events are coming up
• Book yourself on to courses and events
• Share your contact details with other church members, if you are happy to do so (you can choose which details to share)
• See other church members' contact details, provided they have said that they are happy to share them
• See photos of other church members if they choose to provide them (an easy way to get to know faces better, so please do share your own!)
• Communicate with your Small Group using My ChurchSuite
• Allocate members of teams you lead to different roles, create team rotas, and send them out. Reminders can be sent, and members can organise swaps with other team members if they need to.

What do you need to do now?

• Using the email address we have for you, members receive an invitation to join My ChurchSuite. If you don't receive this, please check your spam folder. If you still can't find it, please email or call our office.
• When you receive it, follow the instructions to set up your login and password.
• Check your details and change them if necessary.
• Add your photo if you wish.
• Under "privacy", set the contact details you are happy for other church members to see.
• You can do all this on your computer or on your smart phone, but we recommend that you download the ChurchSuite app on your smart phone if you can.
